Heads up!
On October 1, we introduced Gitpod Flex. You can swap between documentation by using the
switcher in the left navigation bar.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
Common Issues and Solutions
Issue: Nodes are unable to join the Nebula network. Solution: Verify that the node can reach the Gateway Server and that the join token is correct.
Issue: High latency between nodes. Solution: Check if direct connections are being established or if traffic is routing through Lighthouse nodes. Adjust firewall rules if necessary.
Issue: Certificate expiration causing connection drops. Solution: Ensure that nodes can reach the Gateway Server for certificate renewal. Check certificate validity periods and adjust if needed.
Upgrading Procedures
To upgrade a Gateway installation, Gitpod provides frequent Cloud Formation templates containing a stack update. In case of errors during the update, AWS automatically rolls back the changes to the previous state.
