Heads up!
On October 1, we introduced Gitpod Flex. You can swap between documentation by using the
switcher in the left navigation bar.
Projects Lifecycle
When you create a Project, it is initially in a Draft state. As draft project, you can update the configuration and launch Environments from the Project, but the project is not yet visible to others.
Activate project
Once you’re ready for others to enjoy a one-click launch experience of this Project, you can Activate the project. Once activated, the project is shared with the Organization and others can use it as well.
Deactivate project
When you no longer want the Project to be used by others, or it’s no longer relevant, you can deactivate it.
Launching an environment from a project
Once launched, you’ll see your environment in the sidebar.
